When Realism Reaches A New Level

It isn’t often that I will single out an artist purely for praise.

But in this instance I truly believe that it is deserved.

Many of you may have seen some of the stunning work by artist Hayley Marie Armstrong, but for those of you that haven’t had the privilege yet, take a look at the realism of this doll.

It is really hard to believe that this darling is not a real baby because in so many ways it really looks like at any minute his eyes will open.

So where did this precious bundle begin?

For any one that is unaware this baby is a doll that begun life as a blank kit.

The kit is then expertly and lovingly painted until it has all the features and skin tones of a real baby.

All artists paint in a different way which is always lovely to see.

But when I saw this incredible baby, it is no surprise that I did several double takes.

There is so much to admire about the skills and techniques used with Hayleys work, that she has easily made it onto my dream artists list.

How is this baby not real?

But before looking at her page be warned, you are very likely to fall in love with them and not get them out of your mind.
