Has ebay become unsafe for the doll community?
This is a question that I have been pondering on for a while.
Historically ebay has been one of the most popular dolls for collectors to buy their new dolls.
With lots of pages of gorgeous babies to choose from, it has always been a great place to go.
But, over the past few years it seems that there has been a huge change.
And not in a good way.
Nowadays if you go onto ebay to look for dolls for sale, you will have to scroll through page after page of knock offs.
As a collector I personally will only buy genuine.
Seeing this swing in items for sale is hugely disappointing.
But it also seems that it has become an unsafe place for artists to sell as well.
With bidders often not paying, others paying and then as soon as they receive the baby they put in for a refund under some bogus reason
This is all so disheartening.
Ebay almost always sides with the buyer.
So as an artist you could be out of pocket and without your work.
No artist should be treated this way.
What are your thoughts on ebay?
Have you used them and was it a positive or negative experience?
Also have you seen that here on ourlifewithreborns.com we have started listing dolls for sale?
We will only list genuine dolls.
So why not have a look at what we currently have?
