Reborn Can Mean Both Vinyl And Silicone

There seems to often be some confusion as to the meaning of the term Reborn.

Many people seem to believe that when you speak about a reborn that you are in fact referring to vinyl dolls only.

When in fact reborn refers to the process of painting the doll.

You are reborning the doll, so turning it from one thing, which is a blank kit, to another, which is a gorgeous fully painted kit.

So this really could mean vinyl or silicone dolls.

Both dolls have different methods and processes that have to be carried out to achieve the desired result.

But in this article we are not talking about what those methods and differences in.

Instead we are talking about the reborning process as a whole.

I love seeing the dolls come to life in this way.

With each layer of paint that is applied, a little bit more of their own unique personalities are revealed.

And it is truly exciting for both artist and collector to see their little sweetheart coming to life.

So while people will still mainly think vinyl when they hear the term reborn doll, it can mean either.

And all the reborn artists are really helping forfil someones dreams.
