Bountiful Babies has a new range of dolls out, but do they look like fakes to you?
So I have been seeing these around for a little while now and wanted to share a thought about them.
Firstly the price, for a prepainted doll this price is really amazing.
Which makes me think the target market for these is not really for artists.
These dolls look more like they would be for younger collectors that aren’t really ready for a real reborn.
That in itself is a great idea.
We all know that children love dolls and if mummy or daddy have a reborn in the house they will of course want to cuddle it.
So having a lower price range of dolls for younger children is wonderful.
My only issue I guess with it is that from my opinion the pictures they have of these babies look more like the Wish or Amazon babies.
That is of course just my thoughts on it and I know we will all have different thoughts.
But for me it would really be more that the concept is great I’m just not a huge fan of the overall look of the dolls.
They just do not look like they would last to me.
Maybe a new way of photographing them is needed to make them seem more appealing and not so factory, Chinese copy like in the presentation.
