Dolls are something that many of us love to own and get a lot of enjoyment from.
Which is something that anyone in this community understands.
Many things in life seem like they are just a phrase, and with lots of people, dolls can be just that.
Something that they play with as children but when they grow up they put the dolls away.
But, with the doll community, we insist that you are never too old to play with dolls.
The ability to own a doll can really bring great joy to you, this would be in various forms, from display to role play.
I have, during my life, had a variety of dolls, from Barbies, Cabbage Patch dolls, Baby Bjorn, Baby Annabel, and finally onto the Reborn and Silicone dolls.
Recently I have also been looking at the BJD and Blythe dolls.
The community just grows and grows, allowing the community to really stand the test of time and keep evolving.
We have, as with any hobby, come across some problems.
For us, one of those is based around the buying and selling of the dolls.
It includes a variety of things like illegal kits, stolen kits, and scammers to name a few.
All of these things would risk what is great among the members of the community.
SO, this community is sure to stand the test of time as there will always be people who love these dolls.
As long as we all stay true to what got us into this community in the first place.
We can all hope that at some point all the negativity that is around is a smaller part of this community.
Lets just keep it about the dolls we love.
Support our sculptors and artists and help build each other up, not try and knock each other down.
