After being in the doll community for several years I have noticed an increase in something that I really do not understand.
Ok so I will try to explain it.
During my time scrolling Facebook in the various doll groups I am in and also just my own time feed I see lots more what I call Pity fishing.
Maybe I have become too cynical down the years, but I do not understand why so many people post that they have this disability or that disability.
Further than that they then state thst they can not have children or have lost numerous babies.
Now don’t get me wrong I do have sympathy for the people that do have difficulties in life.
But what I don’t understand is why they post it up to strangers.
Surely this is personal and only should only be shared with people close to you
Like I said it may be that I have become more cynical, but it always feels like people are trying to get free dolls.
If you are honest how many artists out there have had this happen to them.
