This may not be quite as drastic as that, but with doll show season approaching, vendors are feeling more pressure to get their products, whether that is dolls, clothing or accessories, ready for the shows.
For some, this may seem like an impossible task.
So much to do, so little time.
But may I offer these words of advice.
Do not rush.
Your work is what you will have to showcase and share with all attendees to show just how amazing your creations are.
It is better to have three items made to the top of your ability than ten poorer made items.
You will also feel better taking pieces with you that you know fully display your talents.
You would feel disappointed in yourself if you took items that you knew you could do better on.
With so many people walking around looking at the booths and tables during the floor shows you have to remember that it isn’t just all about what you can sell on show days.
It is also about all those people that like the look of your work and take one of your cards home because they liked your work so much.
These people could they go on and purchase from you during the year because they have seen first hand just how awesome your work is.
So do not let the pressure of trying to produce a mass of products to take with you.
Sometimes less is more in the long run.
And overall have fun.
No matter which show you are attending the shows are all about having fun.
