With Reborns being a somewhat Marmite hobby, do you keep your collection a secret or does everyone know about your babies?
So many people do not know about reborns, they are not a common thing in most places.
So it made me wonder if you keep your reborns a secret or are you open about your collection?
Personally I have told a few people about the babies I have, but most of my friends and family do not know.
I have two Facebook accounts, one personal and one for my reborn life ?.
To some people I know this may seem strange, but for me it is how I keep balance.
Am I embarrassed by my hobby?
No not really, but I like to keep it personal and private a lot of the time.
Even though I have a Youtube Channel about it and my website I still have times when i like to step away from the babies at times.
I know many people use them as real children, and I respect their choice to do so, but for me that isn’t what I am looking to get from thie hobby.
I have five real children that I love, but they are all older now so reborns are a nice way to appease my maternal instinct.
But still I do not feel like it is something I want to share with everyone.

I am like you. I have 2 Facebook accounts, 1 reborn 1 personal. 2 YouTube channels, 1 reborn 1 personal. A few family members know about my complete collection and a few others know about a few of my dolls. I think the reason mostly for my secrecy is I want to enjoy my hobby without being judged. I am not hurting anyone. ROSE this year was a very freeing experience. To be able to walk around without covering the dolls was wonderful. Meeting other great doll collectors/artists/youtubers was a dream come true.
