The UK based show just got bigger and better.
Show organiser Cathy Read took to social media to update everyone.
“BRENTWOOD, NOW BASILDON DOLL SHOW!
INTRODUCING OUR NEW LARGER VENUE!!
We are really excited to announce that our most popular show in Brentwood, Essex has found a new, larger venue!
The Holiday Inn at Brentwood is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment, which will see the removal of two of our current exhibition rooms.
Which makes it no longer suitable for hosting the doll show.
However, this has proven to be a fantastic opportunity for us to move the location of the show just 12 miles down the road to the next town along, Basildon.
The Holiday Inn in Basildon is a larger venue, with rooms much better suited to our needs.
As a result we will be able to increase the number of exhibitors and have a much needed expansion!
The hotel is in a beautiful location on a lake, with extensive facilities all round, and easy access for public transport.
Parking will be on the same basis as Brentwood, in that it will be free, but you MUST enter your registration number into the system.
This change will take place with immediate effect and the show on 18th November 2018 will be held at the Holiday Inn in Basildon.
If you have booked a bedroom at Brentwood using the doll show rate, this can be cancelled.
If you have booked on a different rate with the hotel directly, or through a third party, you will need to contact them and arrange cancellation/refund of your booking.
You may book a hotel room for the hotel in Basildon for a special rate of £79 bed and breakfast based on two people sharing (twin or double rooms)
We only have a small allocation of rooms so book early!! You will need to call the hotel direct on 0871 9429003 and quote code “DOL”
All current stand bookings, and VIP tickets will be automatically transferred to our new venue, and people who have booked stands and tickets will receive individual emails in early September.
We will give full, no quibble refunds to anyone who would not like to be transferred to the new venue.
Please note at the moment we do not have any further details, such as floor plans etc. We will have this information available after I have visited the venue in September.
