Ok so I know what you might be thinking. Kansas Doll Show 2018 is going to have a race with strollers.
Well in this case no, this run does not mean go and put on your trainers and grab a stroller.
In fact you don’t really have to break a sweat at all.

“The new game we will have available during the show on Saturday is the STROLLER RUN! 😀
What Is A Poker Run, or Stroller Run in our case?
This event is an exciting and fun five-card, winner take all, poker game that has little to do with poker, beyond using the hand rankings to score the event.
You don’t need to know a great deal about poker to take part, the scoring will be done for participants by the Kansas Doll Show.
Essentially the stroller run is an excuse to meet up with all the vendors on the floor and have a good time at the stops.
Poker Run Rules.
* First thing, although this is a “run”, there are no prizes for speed – it does not matter who is first, it is not a race.
And no, you do not need a stroller to participate.
* Participants meet at the pre-arranged points of the show; the participants are dealt a card at random from the vendor at the selected pickup points.
* Five total decks, of 52 cards, will be used, one at each vendor location, and the preselected vendors will deal you a card at their table or booth.
You will receive an envelope with your first poker card, and this instruction sheet when you purchase a ticket for the stroller run.
After that there will be four preselected vendors on the floor that will have a silver, star shaped balloon above their table or booth that will hand you the remainder of your poker cards.
* The cards dealt is placed in the participant’s card envelope, and the winner of the event is the participant who makes the best five-card poker hand at the end of the show on Saturday.
The winner will be announced at 3:45 p.m.
All cards must be turned in at the Jenny Raymond Originals booth by 3:00 p.m.
Remember you must write your name and phone number on the envelope just incase we need to contact you.
* The winning hand is determined by standard five card poker hand rankings. NO “wild cards” allowed, and players are not allowed to buy extra cards at any point.
Suits from lowest to highest value are Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades.
* No card sharing, and all five cards turned in must be from each one of the five preselected individual vendors.
We have marked the cards deliberately so if any of the cards turned in are not from each of the individual vendor, five cards in total, you will be disqualified, removed from the run, and forfeit all monies paid.
* This is a winner take all event, the best 5 card poker hand will take the prize.
There will be no ties or prize sharing.
By keeping to the above rules, the stroller run should be a fun and enjoyable event for all participants, good luck!!!”
