Although I have been in the reborn community for a few years now, after a conversation with one of my daughters I came to realise that she wouldn’t know where to start if she ever wanted to buy me a reborn as a surprise.
So I thought I would write this to help anyone that is in the same situation or who is new to the community and does not know where to start.
So the first step is to do your research.
You need to find an artist that you can work with to create the baby that you want.
Some artists are kind enough to offer payment plans or layaways which helps to make all babies attainable.
Finding an artist if you don’t know where to look an seem lke a daunting task.
My suggestion would be to look on Facebook at the reborn groups there.
On the groups if you write a post asking to see peoples work or asking other members opinions on good artists.
Next thing to do is to get an idea on what kit you would like.
You first have to decide if you want to have an opened eye or closed eye baby.
This is not always an easy choice.
Then you will have to choose which colour eyes if it is an open eyed baby.
You will also have to decide what colour hair you want your baby to have.
What colour skin tone you want, the weight you want your baby as well.
All these decisions are important to helping you create your perfect baby.
Once you get your beautiful bundle home you will then need to know how to care for your baby.
