Choosing my first reborn kit for painting

I have now been collecting reborns for a couple of years and have decided that I would really like to have a go at painting now.

So I have decided that I need to choose which kit I want to paint.

Now I know that painting my first reborn will not be an easy thing to do.

After giving it some thought I have made the decision that for a first kit, it may be better to do a closed eyed, sleeping baby.

The reason that I made this decision was simple, with a closed eye baby I would not have to worry about putting eyes on the baby.

But with so many different doll kits to choose from, picking just one would be tough.

At this stage it didn’t really matter which gender I wanted to make my baby, it was more just seeing if any kit stood out for me.

I knew that on this website I could purchase some of their kits at a cheaper price, which for me as a starter kit, I felt it would work perfectly.

So to learn some techniques of painting I will probably turn to Youtube and watch some videos and see and try to learn what they have to say.

I am actually really quite excited about this and am looking forward to starting.

So I am hoping that within a week or so that I will have brought my first kit to try.

I will of course blog each step of the way for you all, complete with pictures of how the progress is going.
