We have been in the reborn community for around four years now, which means that my daughter got into reborns aged eight.
Now many people may feel that this is too young to be in to reborns.
But with every child it is different and you have to judge each situatuon for what it is
In this case I felt that reborning would be a great thing to do and that it was a hobby that I could share with my daughter thus giving us time when it is just the two of us and time to bond.
Now as a mother of five I find it important to develop a bond with each child, the easiest way to do this I have found is to find something that they like and that they are in to and get into it as well.
For me personally it didnt take much to get into the reborns as I have always been maternal.
From the first time we ordered our first custom baby our love of the reborns just grew.
We have hours of fun together shopping for the babies, choosing names for new babies, discussing videos to do and so much more.
I feel that getting into this hobby with my daugther has been extremely beneficial to us both.
Personally I can not see a time when I out grow this hobby as such, but I know that there may come a time when my daughter does.
When that happens I will be fine with it and carry on with the hobby alone. But I will still always hold dear the times that we woulld have spent together.
So in conclusion I love having this hobby with my daughter as it has given us both so much and I wouldn’t change it.
